Assignment Eleven.

Your Favorite Place In The World.

I found this video a few months ago and fell deeper in love with my current school, Independence Charter. In the video Tr. Julie is being interviewed about her favorite place in the world. She says she loves looking out onto the mural at ICS with this quote,

“I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” – Stephen Grellet

I would like all of you to watch this video and reflect on your favorite place in the world. My favorite place has changed over the years from a dock at Peace Valley Park, to the gravel parking lot at Whistlestop Park, to the grassy patch on top of the Anderson building at Temple University, and now finally the tree growing next to my grandmothers gravestone. Our favorite places transition over the years, but much of the sentiment remains the same. Feel free to leave your reflections here.
